Is there a separate employee who uses the services compared to the employee who reports on performance on a weekly basis? Clearly indicate who participates in AA and how. Part of the cause of the conflict between marketing and distribution is the fact that there are no fixed rules. Both teams have their own ideas and expectations as to how the relationship should unfold, and these ideas are usually very different. This is obviously a recipe for disaster and mis-orientation. An SLA is so valuable because it creates a level playing field for both teams and ensures that everyone understands from the outset what the goals are. This orientation – which we call „smarketing“ – is largely the result of a deliberate decision to cooperate, set goals and conclude agreements between the two teams.
